You won’t lose weight on paleo

You probably won’t lose any weight on paleo. You’ll just deprive yourself of the carbohydrates you really want (flour products, yeasted flour products, grain products, dairy) and eat too much fruit and too many nuts. Just like freely feeding on Atkins, you won’t lose weight – because you’ll be eating too much. Paleo is way too many calories, way too fast. If you want to lose weight, you’ve got to limit your calories to 500-600 a day, or 700-800 a day, or 1000 a day – or it’s not going to happen.
