The Meat, Fruit and Vegetable Diet

The Meat, Fruit and Vegetable Diet

If you eat mostly fish, shellfish and chicken or turkey, you can add fruit to your low carb diet and lose weight. Meat, Fruit and Vegetable diets work, if you can control the calories. 2 meals a day works best. Each meal is 1 Fruit (anything you want, a restaurant serving – 1 orange, 1 apple, 1 banana, 1/2 grapefruit, etc.), 1 Vegetable (1 cup of any vegetable you like, except peas potatoes or corn), and 1 Meat (8 ounces of any dead animal, preferably fish, shellfish or poultry). The diet is about 200 calories of Fruit, 100 calories of Vegetable, and 800-900 calories of Meat – so about 1200 calories.
