You lose weight by starving, by taking in fewer calories than you need to break even. There’s no other way. You will lose twice as fast on 1500 calories of protein and fat, compared to 1500 calories of carbohydrate. But at some point, calories count. The less you eat, the faster you are going to lose weight.
