If you are not losing weight fast enough – lower your calories (500-600/day for most pateints), lower your carbohydrates (5 grams per feeding for most) and increase your exercise. The exercise to do is interval training. Do 3 minutes as hard as you can on a treadmill, elliptical, stepper, gazelle, whatever. Recover for 1-2 minutes. Repeat these 3 minute intervals 4 times, for a total of 12 minutes of exertion. That’s the fastest weight loss there is.
