My all time favorite quick weight loss program, the diet I use when I want to drop a quick 5 pounds, is the Cat Food Diet. It’s the diet I go on to to get back to my fighting weight. I’m 59, 5’9″, and my fighting weight is 155 pounds. The Cat Food Diet is exactly what I go on, when I want to lose weight. First, I go for 1-2 days without eating. I drink at least a gallon (128 ounces) of tea (greeen and black, hot and cold) every day. When I absolutely, positively have to eat something, I eat canned meat only, up to 4 cans a day, until I have lost the 5 pounds I want to lose. It usually takes less me than a week. I eat the same canned meat all day, up to 4 cans a day. I switch canned meat after 2-3 days. The canned meat is a 3-4 ounce can of tuna (in water, not oil), salmon, chicken, turkey, shimp, crab, lobster, sardines (in mustard, not oil), clams, mussels. I put yellow or dijon mustard on the canned meat for seasoning if I want it. That’s it. Guaranteed to lose at least 5 pounds a week. More tomorrow.
