Mini-Meals are worth a try, if you are stuck. The easiest way to do 100-150 calories of dead animal, 4-6 times a day is with canned tuna. You can get small 100-150 calorie cans. Put a little mustard or Miracle Whip Free on your tuna. Eat nothing else. Make sure you drink at least a gallon (128 ounces) of non-caloric fluid a day, and have 4 bouillon cubes to replace the salt you are losing. Eat 1 small can of tuna every 2-4 hours. Most patients lose 5-10 pounds in a week.
