Keeping weight loss super-simple helps. That’s why Walk, Swim or Fly is my favorite diet. If you behave yourself, you’ll lose 3-5 pounds every week, and you can almost freely feed. (You can’t really freely feed, I hate freely feeding, it doesn’t work, but you almost can.) There’s one rule. If it can’t Walk, Swim or Fly – don’t put it in your mouth. Try to limit yourself to about 4 servings of dead animule a day, each serving about the size of your fist. This puts you in the 1500 calorie range, but don’t make yourself too crazy about this number. Do just dead animule as long as you can. That’s it. When you can’t stand it any more, add vegetables – any vegetable you like, as much as you want (within reason – think restaurant size servings), except peas, potatoes or corn. Drink at least a gallon of water or non-caloric fluid a day (128 ounces), keep butter, oil and fat to a minimum (1-2 tablespoons a meal, if you need it), and you’ll lose weight steadily.
