Meat, Fruit and Vegetable Diet – calories

My Meat, Fruit and Vegetable Diet is my favorite way to help patients lose weight, who absolutely, positively refuse to stop eating fruit. Fruit and alcohol are the 2 worst things you can eat if you are trying to lose weight, because fruit and alcohol metabolize to twice as much alpha glycerol phosphate as other carbohydrates, so they cause twice as much fat storage. So fruit is the last thing you should be eating, if you want to lose weight. But some patients just refuse to give up fruit. The good news is that you can lose weight fairly quickly and easily on Meat, Fruit and Vegetables, if you do the calorie math and keep your portions under control. The allowed pound of Meat (fish, shellfish or poultry) is 300-500 calories. The allowed 2 pounds of Fruit is 300-400 calories. The allowed 3 pounds of Vegetables is 200-300 calories.
