If you stick to 1000 calories of dead animule (protein and fat) a day, you’ll lose on average 5-7 pounds a week.
You just can’t cheat. Cheat on one apple, and you can lose no weight all week. Ironically, you’re better off
cheating on a chocolate chip cookie than an apple, but don’t cheat on either. An apple or a drink of alcohol
(wine, beer, spirits – it doesn’t matter) make your body store twice as much fat as non-fruit based
carbohydrates. The culprit is alpha glycerol phosphate, which is where your body gets the glycerol to make
triglyderides – in other words to store fat. You make twice as much alpha glycerol phosphate from fruit or
alcohol, compared to how much alpha glycerol phosphate your body makes from other carbohydrates (bread,
cookies, candy, etc.) Carbohydrate calories count, but alpha glycerol phosphate counts more.
