If you’re not hungry, don’t eat

If you’re not hungry, don’t eat

It’s generally easier to eat nothing at all, then to eat a little. As soon as you put anything in your mouth, insulin release makes you even hungrier and want to eat more. It’s a survival mechanism, good for the starving caveman, not good for us. Most patients do best going as long as they can without eating – and eat just one or two meals a day. The less you eat, the faster you are going to lose weight. As soon as you start to eat, you increase your hunger for the day. I can’t say it enough. If you’re not hungry, don’t eat.
