You have to come up with a structure to limit your calorie and carbohydrate intake (prepackaged food, fast food, frozen sirloin burgers, whatever) – or you won’t lose weight fast enough and consistently enough, to keep you on a low carbohydrate diet. You will crave sweets and strarches on a low carb diet, and in exchange for this deprivation, you’ve got to see weight loss. If you’re not actively controlling your portions on a low carb diet, you won’t lose weight fast enough to stay on your diet.
