Try fasting a day a week to speed your weight loss. Pick one day a week, and don’t eat anything that day. Drink at least a gallon (128 ounces) of water or non-caloric fluid that day. Drink coffee, tea, diet pop, Crystal Lite, etc. – and drink 2-4 cups of bouillon that day to keep your sodium up. Many patients find it remarkably easyy not eat one day a week, and most patients can fast one day a week and stay in perfect health. In general, protein calorie malnutrition only shows up after months of fasting, not one day a week.
