Eat just one or two meals a day

If you want to successfully lose weigt on a low carb diet, you have to stop sabotaging yourself. You absolutely, positively cannot eat as much as you want. I don’t care what the diet books say. Freely feeding on a low carbohydrate diet, after 2 months, the average patient is eating more than 3000 calories a day – so there’s no weight loss. If you eat an omelet for breakfast, that’s at least 1200 calories. IHOP does not sell an omelt with less than 1200 calories. A chef or Greek salad for lunch is at least another 1200 calories, and a steak, salad and veggies at Outback or Morton’s for dinner is at another 1500 plus calories. The best strategy I know to lose weight on a low carb diet is to eat just one or two meals a day. Thre meals just doesn’t work for msot patients. Way too many calories. Remember, it’s always easier to eat nothing at all, than to eat just a little.
