Cutting out 500 calories a day – will not make you lose 1 pound a week

Never, ever try to lose weight by simply reducing your calories and increasing your exercise. It just doesn’t work.
The myth is that if you decrease your calories by 500 a day, after a week you’ll lose 3500 calories or 1 pound.
The reality is that in order to efficiently lose weight, you have to effect fat storage. If you’re eating too many
carbohydrates, you body will way too efficiently, store too much fat – so you won’t lose weight. The other
problem is that exercise will make you hungry. Exercise doesn’t work for weight loss. Exercisse makes you
hungry. When you are exercising, you work up an appetite, so you eat more. Eating more cancels out the weight
loss from burning more calories. If you want to effiiciently lose weight, you’ve got to decrease both your calorie
and carbohydrate intake. Cut your calories to 1000 a day, or 1500 a day max. Limit your carbohydrates to 5-10
grams of carbohydrate per feeding. You’ll lose weight.
