If you can find a strategy that allows you to severely limit your low carb calories, you can lose weight. If you can’t figure out how to effectively limit your low carb calories, you are just going to deprive yourself (of carbs) and not lose weight. You absolutely, positively cannot eat as much as you want on a low carb diet, and expect to lose weight. You can’t eat a 2 pound steak for dinner and expect to lose weight. You also can’t eat a dozen eggs for breakfast, and expect to lose weight either. You have got to limit the amount of calories you eat, or you aren’t going to lose weight quickly enough to make it worthwhile to stay on the deprivation of a low carb diet.
