You don’t need medication to lose weight, but you do need a plan or a structure to keep your calories under 1500 a day (under 1000 is better), or you won’t lose weight fast enough to stay motivated to put up with the deprivation. 3000 calories a day are alot more fun (and you will feel better, and have more energy) than 1500 a day. But in order to lose weight you have to starve (burn more calories than you take in), so it’s not fun. The feel good, high energy diet is a myth. Real weight loss is the not feeling so good, low energy diet. You have to be hungry, if you are going to lose weight.
