It always amazes me how many patients get absolutely no exercise – none, zero, zip. If I can convince you to exercise for just 20 seconds, 3 times a day – you can start getting benefits. Your insulin level will decrease, meaning you will be less hungry and have fewer carbohydrate cravings. Your V02 max will increase, meaning your vital capacity will improve. You won’t break a sweat. You can exercise in a business suit. Work out for 20 seconds – 3 times a day – on your crosstrainer of choice (elliptical, gazelle, airdyne, etc.), and see what happens to your weight.
