The roast vegetable and soup vegetable trick

The roast vegetable and soup vegetable trick

If I can get you to take in most of your calories from 5% vegetables (any vegetable you like, except peas, potatoes or corn – 5% means a vegetable with no more than 5% carbohydrate), you can probably lose weight. Even if you’re not particuarly fond of vegetables, it’s easier than you think, once you discover roasting and soup mixes. Take any vegetable you like, spray it with beef or chicken or vegetable bouillon, and roast it in a 500 degree oven until it browns. Roasting time is anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes, depending on your vegetable and how much you’re roasting. The other trick is to steam your vegetable of choice, and then add your vegetable to a pot of onion soup mix, or beef soup mix or chicken soup mix or whatever soup mix you like, that’s not cream based. It’s hard to go over 1000 calories a day, eating roast and soup vegetables.
