The diet breakthrough for most patients is when the light goes on their brain, and they realize that in order to lose weight, they really can’t eat. It’s amazing how hard this is for some patients to get. I’ll say it again. If you want to lose weight, you really can’t eat very much. Losing weight is about starving. There’s no other way. Eat all you want diets don’t work, because you can’t lose weight eating all you want. You’ve got to limit your calories to about 1500 a day, or you won’t lose weight anywhere near fast enough, to stay on a diet. 1000 calories a day is better. 500 calories a day is almost no food, and hard to stay on without medication.
