The biggest lie in weight loss, is that you can eat as much as you want on a low carb diet, and expect to lose weight. It’s just not true. You have to limit your calories and carbohydrate intake, or the scale is not going to move. On a low carb diet, you are not eating the bread and fruit and ice cream you crave. In exchange for this deprivation, I want to see some weight loss. And in order to see weight loss, you’ve got to keep your calories under 1500 a day. Under 1000 a day is better. 600-800 a day is even better.
