The good thing about the Grey Sheet diet is that it’s vegetable heavy. Do the math, and you’re eating a pound and a half of veggies for lunch and dinner. That’s about four times the normal restaurant serving of vegetables. To make the Grey Sheet Diet up to date, go as long as you can without eating before Breakfast. Don’t eat your first meal, until you are hungry. If you’re not hungry until 6pm, Breakfast is at 6pm. You don’t have to eat all 3 meals each day, but eat them in order. I’m not nuts about the fruit with Breakfast, as it can trigger feeding frenzy for the whole day. But some patients can get away with it. The reason it’s better to have fruit with your first meal, is that you’re off to work. If you have fruit at dinner and it causes a problem, you’re on a night binge.
