The good news about Thanksgiving desserts, is that most people can’t tell the difference between artificially sweetened pumpkin pie and and sugar sweetened pumpkin pie. The same goes for cheesecake. You can make your favorite pumpkin pie recipe or cheesecake recipe, and substitute Splenda or Stevia for the sugar. Don’t use Equal or SweetnLow. Equal turns bitter when you cook with it, and SweetnLow doesn’t taste anywhere near as good in baking. Don’t make the crust for your pie or your cheesecake, and you have a near perfect low carb dessert, with your favorite recipe.
