Try taking your fat calories to stupid for a week, limit your protein calories, and you’ll probably do better on a low carbohydrate diet than you ever have in your life. The easiest way to do this is with eggs. Twice a day, make yourself a 4 egg omelet with 1/4 stick of butter. You get 280 calories from the eggs, which are 80% fat – and you get 200 calories from the butter, which is 100% fat. Most patients experience far less hunger and far fewer sweet and starch cravings, when they limit protein and increase fat. Make sure there is no appreciable (less than 5-10 grams per feeding) carbohydrate intake. Drink at least a gallon of water or non-caloric fluid every day. Drink 4 bouillon cubes in water every day to replace the salt you are losing like a racehorse. You should lose an easy 5-10 pounds in a week.
