help you lose weight on a low carbohydrate diet, by replenishing the sodium you lose due to carbohydrate
restriciton. By adding a few sprinkles of salt to everything you eat, and drinking a cup of boullion 2-3 times a
day, you’ll increase your energy, decrease muscle cramps, and decrease your sweet and starch cravings. In fact,
one of the best ways to decrease carbohydrate cravings is to increase salt intake. Boullion cubes are the easiest
way to do this – chickne, beef or vegetable boullion cubes all do the same thing. They are mostly salt, and most
patients feel better on a low carbohydrate diet substituting a cup of boullion for coffee or tea, at least twice a
day. Increasing your fat intake is the other secret to help you lose weight faster and feel better. You still have to
keep your calories under 1500 a day to lose weight quickly enough to stay on your diet, but by getting 50-75%
of your calories from fat – you’ll have more energy and fewer sweet and starch cravings. The easiest way to
increase your fat intake is to eat fatty (20%-30% fat) hamburger, eat higher fat steaks (New York strip, club, rib
eye) and eat the skin on chicken.
