I know it sounds radical, but if you successfully lose weight on Bars or Formula or whatever – it’s not a bad idea to maintain your weight by staying on Bars or Formula or whatever – and just add back 1000 calories or so of whatever foods you’ve been missing. Bar and Formula diets are high protein, low calorie, low carbohydrate – and by continuing to eat Bars or Formula or whatever – the high protein should help keep hunger and out of control binging at bay, when you add the (usually carbohydrate) foods you’ve been missing. Protein helps you stay in control.
