Low carb free feeding, absolutely, positively doesn’t work. Almost every low carb diet books tells you, that you can eat as much as you want, and lose weight. It’s just not true. One of the most important things I have to do with every patient, in order to get them to lose weight, is to convince them that in exchange for the carbohydrate deprivation, if they want to see the scale move, they have to limit calories. Traditional low calorie diets limit portions. Low carb diets that work, limit portions too.
