New breakthrough injections for obesity treatment – one shot, once a day

There are 3 relatively new medications that can help you lose weight, that are not diet pills. The medications are
all appetite suppressant injections, that you give yourself with an epi pen type device. The medications
significanlty block hunger, without stimulation, for 24 hours. The first medication is called Victoza, it’s a once a
day medication. You give yourself one injection, once a day – and you’re not hungry for 24 hours. This is the
free injection I give to all my patients in the office every day. The second injection is Symlin. Symlin is also an
appetite suppressant, but you need to inject yourself twice a day. There are almost no side effects with Victoza
or Symlin. The third appetite suppressant is Byetta. It’a also a twice a day injection. The side effects are
occassional nausea. Within a year, there should be once a week injections of Victoza and Byetta. Within 5
years, the injections should be available in once a month doseage. One shot, once a month, isn’t a bad way to
lose weight.
