My rules for not gaining weight on cruise ship or an all-inclusive resort stay are simple and they work. (1) You can drink alcohol or eat dessert, but not both. (2) Drink exactly what you want. Be super-picky about alcohol. You can never get enough of what you don’t want. (3) No flour products. Avoid the bread basket like the plague. Ditto cookies, crackers, pie crust and cake. (4) Eat mostly lower fat protein – fish, shellfish and chicken. (5) Your core diet is Meat, Fruit and Vegetables – including peas, potatoes and corn for a change. (6) No nuts, cheese or dairy products. Way too many calories, way too fast. Don’t go crazy, follow my rules, and you can reasonably freely feed on a cruise or all-inclusive, and not gain weight.
