My biggest diet peeve

My biggest diet peeve are all those diets that tell you not to skip meals and that you have to eat breakfast. There’s no science that not skipping meals or eating breakfast helps you lose weight. Clinically, every meal you don’t eat is more calories NOT going in, so more weight is lost. Breakfast doesn’t do anything but add a ton of calories, which is totally stupid, unless you are hungry. I prefer patients to eat one meal a day, as there are fewer calories in one meal than in two meals. I prefer patients eat two meals a day over three meals a day, for the same reason. My basic instruction is to wait until you are ravenous, and then eat as much as you want, and as little as you can. If you want to lose weight as efficiently as possible, eat just protein, or protein and fat.
