A way to effectively and steadily lose weight is to follow the 1000 calorie dead animule rule. Limit yourself to about 1000 calories of animal protein a day. That’s it. Eat unlimited veggies, any veggie you like, as much as you like, except no peas, potatoes or corn. Most patients eat their 1000 calories of protein in one or two feedings. No butter or oil on your veggies, as the calories get stupid this way and weight loss stops. Keep your weight loss program simple, rule bound, and you’ll do fine. Make weight loss complicated with too many rules, and you’ll fall off the wagon.
