Fast food burger diets work better, if you cut your protein and increase your fat intake. The next time you go on burger diet (up to 8 fast food hamburgers a day, no bun – 1600 calories) – try cutting your burger intake in half. Eat only 4 burgers (no buns) a day, and add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter to each burger. You can do the same with eggs. Instead of eating up to a dozen eggs a day, eat 6 eggs and add 1-2 tablespoons of butter or olive oil per egg. Increasing fat (if you still keep your calories under control), improves weight loss – because you will be less hungry, much fuller and have fewer sweet and starch cravings. Protein metabolizes by gluconeogensis to glucose in the blood stream, and raises your blood sugar. Fat metabolizes to free fatty acids.
