If you’re not hungry, don’t eat

One meal a day is generally better for weight loss than two meals a day, because there’s half the potential to get into trouble. One meal a day is half as many opportunities to binge. Most patients who successfully lose weight, don’t eat three meals a day. Small frequent feedings generally don’t work, because there’s more potential to get into trouble with food. The more often you eat, the more often you risk going into feeding frenzy. In general, it’s always easier to eat nothing at all, than it is to eat just a little.
