If you wake up starving – you ate too much carbohydrate the night before

If you wake up in the morning starving, you probably ate too much carbohydrate the night before. Before you start eating, try drinking at least a quart of non-caloric fluid. Caffeine can help, if you’re not sensitive to it. If you are lucky, re-hydrating will get your out of control hunger, back under control. Bedtime carbohydrate can cause weight gain, because of increased morning hunger.
