If you are not losing weight

If you are not losing weight

If you’re not losing weight, you are eating too many calories, or you are eating too much carbohydrate, or you are eating too many calories and too much carbohydrate. If you’re not losing weight, make sure your calories are under about 1500 a day. It’s amazing how many patients freely feed on protein and fat, eat over 3000 calories a day, and wonder why they are not losing weight. After you cut your calories to 1500, if you’re still not losing weight, then cut your carbs more. Make sure you are eating less than 60 grams of carbohydrate a day, ideally 10-20 grams per feeding, if that.
