Many patients who want to lose weight, absolutely, positively refuse to exercise. But if I can get you to do 3 – 20 second High Intensity Training (HIT) bursts a day, you might be able to finally get the scale moving – coupled with a low calorie, low carbohydrate diet. It amazes me how many patients get absolutely no exercise, and refuse to do so. The great thing about 20 seconds of exercise, is that it’s generally over before your brain can kick in with “I don’t want to do this”. You don’t have to exercise to lose weight, but you’ll probably feel better, and HIT can get the scale moving, if you’re stuck.
