Imagine your hands are your carbohydrate cravings. Put your hands together like the pages of book, and slowly bring your hands in front of your face, until they are covering your eyes. Look around. Mostly what you can see are your carbohydrate cravings. Little else gets through. This is how you live your life, most of the time, trying to get through your day, looking through your carbohydrate cravings. Now, slowly lower your hands. Your carbohydrate cravings are still there, but you can just let them sit there, without interfering with you getting on with life.
