The Cat Food Diet is my fastest and favorite weight loss program, because weight loss is fast, because portions are limited. If you absolutely, positively hate eating canned food, you can do my Cat Food Diet with fresh food, but you have to be meticulous about portion control. The basic rules stay the same. Go as long as you can without eating. If you’re not hungry until 8pm, you don’t eat until 8pm. And you must eat the same food at least 2 days in a row, before switching to another food. Each Fresh Cat meal can consist of – 4 soft (or hard) boiled eggs or 2 (low fat) hot dogs (no bun) or 2 cups (low fat) cottage cheese or 2 six ounce cups fat-free yogurt or 2 skinless chicken breasts or 1 skinless chicken leg and thigh or 2 (fast-food or home made) 4 ounce hamburgers (no bun) or 8 ounce salmon filet (steamed or baked) or 6 ounce filet mignon or 4 ounces pastrami or corned beef or 8 ounces ham. Most patients eat 2 meals a day, but you can eat a thrid meal if you are starving. Remember to drink 4 bouillon cubes in water a day, and drink at least a gallon (128 ounces) of non-caloric fluid.
