Freely feeding low carb diets don’t work

If I can stop you freely feeding on a low carb diet, at least I can stop you gaining weight. You absolutely, positively cannot eat as much steak and cheese and bacon and eggs and nuts and heavy cream as you want. Morton’s sells 2500 calorie steaks all day long. A slab of ribs from Outback is 3000 calories. There are 500 calorie bags of nuts at every corner gas station. IHOP doesn’t sell and omelet with less than 1200 calories. Weight loss is about limiting fat storage, which is the advantage of a very low carbohydrate diet. But if you eat too many calories, you will store too much fat. Keep your calories under 1500 a day if you want to lose weight.
