If you stop eating 1 or 2 problem foods, if they are the right problem foods, you’ll probably lose weight. Or at least you’ll have a lot easier time maintaining. Stop using butter or margarine on bread and save 100 calorie per tablespoon. Or switch from butter or margarine to jam or jelly at 30 calories a tablespoon. Stop eating ice cream and save 340 calories per cup. Or switch from ice cream to diet ice cream or sherbert at 200 calories per cup. Or instead of ice cream eat sugar-free Popsicles at 15 calories each, or sugar-free Creamsicles at 30 calories each, or sugar-free Fudgesicles at 40 calories each. Stop eating nuts and save 600 calories per 4 ounces. Or switch from 150 calorie per ounce nuts to 50 calorie bags of baby carrots. Stop eating 100 calorie per cup grapes or cherries, and eat 50 calories per cup melon or berries.
