Calorie swaps won’t help you lose weight

The calorie swaps we’ve been talking about, probably won’t help you lose weight. But calorie swaps make it much easier to maintain. I can’t say this enough – if you want to lose weight, you have to drastically cut both carbohydrates and calories. If you’re eating much over 1000 calories a day, and much more than 20 grams of carbohydrate per feeding, you’re probably not going to lose weight. Structure, structure and structure your calorie and carbohydrate intake. Eat prepackaged, premeasured servings (fast food burgers without the bun, frozen burgers, frozen chicken breasts, frozen fish fillets) when you can – so you know exactly how many calories and how much carbohydrate you are eating. If you are not willing to drastically cut your carbohydrate intake, you are not willing to lose weight.
