DOCTOR NAGLER’S DIET – Lose 5-10 lbs this week. Lose 20 lbs this month.
(1) Eat up to 16 oz protein a day – 8 oz twice a day, or 16 oz once a day.
(2) Anything that walks, swims or flies – fresh, frozen or canned.
(3) Beef, cottage cheese, eggs, fish, lamb, poultry, shellfish, veal, yogurt.
(4) Season with salt, pepper, lemon, mustard, relish, diet (10 cal/tb) dressing.
(5) 2 bouillon cubes a day. Unlimited diet Jello. Nothing else. No cheating.
(6) If you’re not hungry don’t eat. It’s easier to eat nothing at all, than a little.
(7) The less you eat, the faster you are going to lose weight.
(8) Drink 1 gallon (128 oz) no-calorie fluid (water, coffee, tea, diet pop) a day.
(9) After 2 weeks, you may add 2 vegetables a day – no butter or oil.
(10) Any vegetable you like, a restaurant portion – no peas, potatoes or corn.
(11) After 2 weeks on vegetables, you may add 2 servings of fruit a day.
(12) Fruit is a restaurant portion of melon, berries, grapefruit or pineapple.
(13) Exercise for 12 minutes, 4 – 3 minute cycles, every other day.
(14) Exercise hard for 3 minutes, recover 1-2 minutes, repeat 4 times.
(15) Exercise on treadmill, elliptical or stepper. Unlimited walking.
