Diet Bars can be helpful for quick weight loss, for a few days, for a few weeks, or for as long as you can stand it. The rules for Diet Bars are simple. Your Diet Bar must have no more than 150 calories, and at least 15 grams of protein. Don’t worry about carbohydrate content, fiber or anything else. You can buy Diet Bars everywhere that meet these requirements – drug stores, grocery stores, 7-11, Sam’s Club, Costco, etc. You can eat 4-8 Diet Bars a day. Make sure you drink 2 cups of coffee or 2 cups of tea or a can of diet pop, with each Diet Bar. Average weight loss on Diet Bars is 5 or more pounds a week. Make sure you drink at least a gallon (128 ounces) of non-caloric fluid (water, coffee, tea, diet pop) a day. You will also probably need to have 2-4 bouillon cubes a day, to replace the salt you are losing. You can also use Diet Bars as a meal replacement, though most patients lose faster and do better on a Diet Bar only program.
