Dead animule portion size is critical, if you want to lose weight. Less is generally better, because calorie damage can be substantial. If you limit yourself to a pound of dead animule a day (16 ounces of beef, poultry, fish or pork), you’ll be at about 1000 calories a day. If you limit yourself to a pound and a half (24 ounces), you’ll be at about 1500 calories a day. It makes no difference if you eat one large meal or six small meals a day. Eat the way that feels best for you. Your body handles calories exactly the same way, whether you eat one large or 6 small meals a day. I hate small feedings. Small feedings make me cranky, unsatisfied and hungry. This said, some patients thrive on six small feedings a day. You already know how many feedings work best for you. Just do it.
