Dead animal only diets are in general and best and the fastest for a 3-5 pound a week weight loss. Try to limit yourself to a pound to a pound and a half a day. Fish, shellfish, beef, lamb, poultry and pork are your first and best choices. But you don’t have to eat dead animals, in order to lose weight. There are alternatives that work almost as well. You can eat eggs (1-2 dozen a day), cottage cheese (1-2 pounds a day), tofu (1-2 pounds a day), seitan (1-2 pounds a day), tempeh (1-2 pounds a day). In the fake food camp, you can eat hot dogs (up to a pound and a half a day), artificial crab (up to 2 pounds a day, watch out for diarrhea from the sorbitol), spam (up to a pound a day).
