Cut calories – and you’ll cut your carbohydrate cravings

Cut calories – and you’ll cut your carbohydrate cravings

If you are going to lose weight fast enough to stay motivated while you are dieting, you’ve got to lose weight
quickly. The most reinforcing thing you can do, to stay focused and motivated on your diet, is to see that scale
dropping every day. Slow weight loss doesn’t work. Slow weight loss does not shrink your stomach (medically
impossible, without surgery) or retrain your eating habits. Slow weight loss just prolongs the agony. If you are
going to lose weight quickly enough to stay motivated then, this means you are going to have to cut your calories
to 500-1500 calories a day. If you eat much more than this, your weight loss will not be fast enough to keep you
dieting. The good news is that on ver low calorie diets, after 3 days, if you are eating less than 10 grams of
carbohydrate per feeding – your sweet and starch cravings will almost disappear.
