Imagine you are an expanding balloon. At the edge of the balloon are your carbohydrate cravings. At the edge of the balloon is the zone where the question is asked – are you big enough to have these cravings? No matter how big you get, you can always get bigger. When a craving comes to the edge of the balloon, you can say yes or no to the craving. If you say no, you get smaller. If you say yes, you get bigger. If you say yes to experiencing the craving, it doesn’t get any easier, because cravings keep coming. But saying yes becomes a habit. You can’t stop cravings coming. You can expand and incorporate them, and keep moving forward.
