The problem with following a low carbohydrate diet, is that if you freely feed, if you eat as much as you want – you probably won’t lose weight. In exchange for giving up carbohydrates, in exchange to white knucking your way through sweet and starch cravings, you want to be able to lose weight. But you probably won’t lose weight, unless you have a strategy that restricts the amount of calories you eat. Limit your intake to about a pound (16 ounces) of protein a day, and you should be able to lose weight.
