The two worst things you can possibly cheat on are alcohol or fruit. You are better off cheating on a chocolate
chip cookie than an apple. The reason is because fruit and alcohol cause twice as much fat storage as other
carbohydrates. Stored fat is triglyceride. Your body gets the glyceride to make stored fat (triglyceride) from
alpha glycerol phosphate. Your body’s chief source of alpha glycerol phosphate is dietary carbohydrate. The
problem is that you metabolize twice as much alpha glycerol phosphate from fruit or alcohol (in any form), as you
do from other carbohydrates. Weight loss is about limiting fat storage. You have to stay off carbohydrate to lose
weight most efficiently.
