If you can’t get your calories down to 500-600 protein only calories a day, you are probably not
going to stay on your diet consistently enough to lose weight. Weight loss has to be rapid, or
you are not going to put up with the deprivation. 3000 calories a day are alot more fun than
500. And if you’re not eating protein only, you’re also probably going to be way too hungry to
stay on your diet.
