Most patients make losing weight way too complicated. If you’re not hungry, don’t eat. The less you eat, the faster you are going to lose weight. Never eat in advance of a social function “for protection”. You are just putting in more calories. If you seriously want to lose weight, the only thing that really works for most patients is a very low calorie, very low carbohydrate diet. Eat 1 or 2 or 3 meals a day. It makes no difference how often or at what time you eat. Your body handles caloreis exactly the same way, time and frequency have no impact. Limit your carbohydrates to 10-20 grams per feeding. Less is better. Limit your calories to about 1500 a day, 1000 is better, 500 is hard to stay on for more than a few days. That’s it.
